I now own a small business, however, I used to work as an Escrow Assistant. With your banking background, I'm sure you'd pick it up right away. The hours are great at title companies - usually 8a-5p Monday-Friday. You will never work weekends. Also, you rarely ever have to work late, if you have an Escrow Agent who schedules properly. The only exception is the last week of the month, when everyone is trying hard to close. Try finding a company willing to train "their" way of doing things instead of asking for experience. Each title company does their files differently, so sometimes it's a plus if you haven't already been accustomed to someone's else's way. Good luck!

First let me say I am really sorry. I will pray for healing for you and your daughter. I know you will be inidated with ideas but here is one more to ponder. I'm so sorry to hear that! I do not know of a day job but I have a home based business (that keeps me home with my children) and you could set your own hours. You could also work it along side a day job (for the benefits) until you build it up til you are making enough money to only work the home-based business. You still get to help/teach others, its just in a different way...and you are in control of your hours, income, etc. It does take discipline and consistency.

I am sorry to hear what you and your daughter are going through right now. I also wanted to tell you that I too am a single mother of a 10 year old and a 2 year old. They have restructured things from many years ago and here are no longer territories. Of course, there are also NO selling requirements and NO inventory requirements.

I am so sorry for your loss, because that is what it is! I will be praying for you. I market for a company and this month they are running a great promotion.
