Lifetime Fitness has an AMAZING children's play area and it is organized and very well staffed. My son actually ASKS to go there each D., which keeps me motivated. We have been going 5 days a week for two months now and we absolutely love it!
I pick up my daughter at 3pm and try to provide some exercise most afternoons, but I need exercise too. Is there something we can both do? She is 3 1/2. I looked at LA Fitness, but the kids room does not have organized play. So it's possible that she might sit in there and color instead of getting exercise. Also, I would prefer to be together in a class setting. We can drive to Plano, Richardson, or Dallas. Any ideas?
We're going to do a one month trial with Lifetime Fitness. Thanks for your help!

Try Lifetime fitness, I have heard that they have exercise classes/activities for the kids in the daycare but I am not sure about classes for you to take together. Their prices arent much more than LA fitness(which is where I work out now) and you get more out of the gym at lifetime if you have older kids (mine is only 9 mths so he doesnt need that kind of activity yet) We just had some friends switch from LA fitness to Lifetime for that specific reason, and the kids love it. Good Luck!

In addition to a class if you live near northpark mall go walk the square several times. You can also run around in their outdoor garden. It is free, fun and with lots to see.

An hour at any of the bounce houses around town is great exercise! Most of them allow adults to run around, jump, climb in the bounce houses.
