Hello Ladies!
I am currently 10 weeks along (it's early I know) and we are working on picking both a boy name and a girl name. For a boy we like Connor Grayson (what do you think of our boy name?) and for a girl we are clueless. We have a few names that we are tossing around, but nothing is really striking us. So, any suggestions? I would love to hear what you all have to say and I appreciate any input I receive!! :)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you, ladies for all of your responses! Just wanted to let you know that we found out we are indeed having a girl (yay!) and we have decided to name her Makenna Taylor :)

Lisa Marie Presley just named one of her twins Harper-love it! It is traditionally a boy name but I think it would make a lovely girl name! It sounds more girly to me. I also like Harlow and Shelby. Veda is a great name also that means eternal knowledge if you are into the meanings.

My daughter's name is Lily, but it has been an increasingly popular name the past few years (she will be 3 this year). I wish it wasn't (I didn't want her to be like the Jennifer's & Lisa's from when I was younger) but I just loved the name.
If I were to have another girl, some of the names I am considering:
Evelyn (and calling her Evie)
Amy
Abby

Good luck!

Congrats!!

I dont think it's too early to think about names yet. We knew our names by 15 weeks. When I got my ultrasound at 19 weeks I wanted him or her to have a name when we saw them. Our Names were Colin Patrick for a boy and Madelyn Adele for a girl. I did not end up finding out the sex until I was 8 months along, lil brat had her legs closed through every attempt. We ended up having Madelyn Elizabeth :-) (we changed the middle name)
I really liked Biancca for a girl, but everyone I knew hated it, so I caved. My next if its a girl I am not caving!! lol.. Other names I have been thinking about are Ryan (for a girl) Addison, Amberleigh, and Calista.

Good luck!

Love the name Connor...we named our middle boy Connor Lucas! Wanted to name a girl Kenzie Maya...but the testosterone fairy got to me first! Not a girl in the mix! LOL.

I have friends with 3 girls...Amiah, Zuri, Kadesh...love them all!

Good luck...have fun with it...my hubby dared me to name the middle one Connor Snuffeluffagis...almost did!

I like Connor Grayson. It's unique but not so different that the kid will get picked on for it.

Our daughter's name is Savannah but Lindsay was one of the runner up names. Good luck!

Maybe consider a name that reflects your family's heritage?

I would look on the list of popular names.. and NOT pick one of those..

There are so many little Ava and Isabelles right now..

Those are nice names but I wouldnt want my child to be in a class with 2 or 3 kids with the same name every year..

My daughter is Lauren -- which is a bit to popular.. there are lots of Laurens out there..

Allison was also a name we thought of.. I wanted Megan and my husband wanted Jessica..

Have you tried a combination of your name and your husband's name to see if you can come up with a unique girls name. I named my daughter Tonya Lynn (Lynn is my middle name). How about Taylor or Teagan for a girls name? Look at family member's names and do a mix. See what unique names you can come up with. Have fun and know you have lots of time to choose a name. Blessings to all.

If my son would have been a girl we were going to name him Layla. My son is Giulian (pronounced Julian).

I'm now preggo with a girl and we have a very rare Italian name picked out. It's still a surprise so I can't tell anyone. But one of the other names I really like is Olive.

Some other little girls names from my Parent-Tot class are: Maya, Alexa, Elena, Ava, Bella, Sophie, Olivia, Allison

K.,

I have 5 boys and for each pregnancy I had the name Grace Elizabeth picked out and we would have called her Gracie. I never got the opportunity to use it though!

I favor the traditional names and have to admit I am glad to see them coming back into popularity. I have been seeing at my sons school the following girls names: Hazel, Emily, Annabelle, and Isabelle. Congratulations on the new baby!

When I was pregnant the first time I had Lydia Louise already picked out. Even before I know it was a girl.

Now that I'm pregnant with girl #2 it's a little harder.

I love Ella but my husband doesn’t.

So we are going with Allyson (my second choice).

I also really like Sophia, Emma and Emily.

I see you have quite a few responses already but I will throw my two cents in! We named my daughter Olivia Grace which I love (thought Grace was a little too formal for a first name though I do like it!) We had also considered Sophia, and I really like Kendall for a girl. I also really like Riley, Ella, Ava for a girl. Love the name Conner for a boy, I have a friend that has a Conner that is very cute! Good luck with your pregnancy....looks like you will be a very busy mama!
