Seeking Good Preschool

We are right down the road in town at 10/De Zavala in Hart Ranch and I send my boy(3 yr old) to University Methodist Day School down the street. Have friends that send kids to Oak Hills Church as you drive in on 10. Also have some others that attend preschool at Gracepoint church on Huebner and also First Baptist in Castle Hills. My older son goes to St. George School in Castle Hills and I think they have a preschool program there also.

Welcome back to Texas!! I saw your request about a good preschool. My boys went to the Acorn school and I loved it!!! It is located on Broadway close to the Witte. I knew parents that drove from Boerne, Schertz, and all over San Antonio just to send their children their.
May I also suggest if you can't find a place that is open for the 2 half days ya'll wanted. ( i agree 5 days at this age is way too much for them too) maybe it's meant to be that you wait to send the boys until after the baby is born. That way ya'll can really enjoy your boys before the baby comes. I have three children too and once the third was born I wept for my two older ones because I missed spending time with them because of the needs of the newborn. Think about it. Childhood is soooooooo short!

One of the best preschools around is Discovery School off of I-10 and Vance Jackson. They are NAEYC certified which means they keep low student-teacher ratio and have age appropriate curriculum. They may have room in the 2 day or 3 day program for your son. You can call ____@____.com of my kids went there through 1st grade. I wish they went through 12th grade. I am new to the site, but I hope I can help you find a PreSchool. First Baptist Church in Boerne has an AMAZING 2 day aweek PreSchool. I would send my 3 and 4 year old girls there. I am sure there is a waiting list, but just have them add your new they usually have room in January.

I am a mother of 2 boys (3 1/2 and 2) and the preschools that I've been looking @ are pretty nice. I really like the program that Community Bible Church has. They are sooooo friendly there and can provide care for your two year old as well.(You might need the break-smile.) Let me know if you find anything.

I highly recommend St. Mark ELC in Boerne. My daughter, who is 3 1/2, attended last year and will return next month. We live in Boerne, and Fair Oaks Ranch is fairly close. St. Mark offers half days or full days, 3 or 5 days a week. They follow the BISD calendar so are closed for the summer, Christmas break, Spring break, and all the usual school holidays. School starts August 21. There are also several Mother's Day Out programs in Boerne that follow a 5 hours/day, 2 days/week schedule. Good luck, and let me know if need more information.
