Hello All,
I am looking for recommendations for anyone who LOVES their OB. I am in need of a high risk doctor preferably that specializes in multiple deliveries. I live in North Hollywood so would prefer the Dr. to be somewhere in the valley..

What can I do next?

Doany is the high risk perinatologst. He won't deliver you. He is good and watches for all signs of distress in the babies. I went to him, but the OB that delivered me was Tanaz Kahan (Dr. Perlow's office), out of Tarzana also. It also really depends on what hospital you want to deliver at. You should start there and then settle on a doc.

Hi S.!
I also went to Dr. Tabsh... I was high risk (age only) but I only have one little BOY! He is a great doctor. He did my Amnio.... Good Luck! Are you in the WED mommy and me at St. Josheph's? Page is your daughter?

Dr. Sharon Nelson in La Canada is awesome, though I'm not sure she specializes in multiples, though I believe she has delivered lots of twins. Her number is ###-###-####. She delivered both of my kids, and several people I know also go to her and we absolutely love her.

Dr. Doany at Tarzana Medical center. He specializes in high risk pregnancies, so I assume that includes twins. He's great and so is his staff.

I think Khalil Tabsh (pronounced Tabish) has an office with the UCLA in Northridge. He is not warm and fuzzy to say the least and wait times are about 2 hours, but if you want to know you and your children are safe and under expert care he's the one to go to. He essentially saved my life.

Hi, S.,

Dr. Tabsh delivered both my kids. Some people say that he is not warm and fuzzy, but I think that he is--in a quiet kind of way. Both my husband and I were glad that he monitored me throughout most of my first pregnancy and all of my second.

I've experienced wait times from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

If you choose Dr. Tabsh as your provider, please contact me at ____@____.com. I have a couple of suggestions regarding how to work with him to make your pregnancy progress as smoothly as possible.

Good luck and congratulations!

I also recommend Dr. Tabsh. He's been my doctor for 2 out of 3 pregnancies. I had twins 6 months ago. I was seeing him every 2 weeks and then every week. He discovered that a Twin to Twin Transfusion was occurring and I had an emergency C-section. This only happens in identical twins. If he didn't catch it in time, I would have lost my babies. And no matter how long the wait, don't ever miss an appointment. If he needs to reschedule because he's performing a surgery, make sure to get an appointment the next day or day after at either Northridge or UCLA. He is definitely not warm and fuzzy, so be prepared and write down all your questions. If you have any other questions, you can send me a personal e-mail. Good Luck with your pregnancy.
