My current ob gyn is in Tampa, almost 45 minutes from home. And even though he is absolutely great(he's got the best bedside manners) and I love every one in his office, I do have to find ob gyn closer to home.So if any one could recommend an excellent ob gyn in the Largo/Pinellas Park / Clearwater area, I would greatly appreciate it

Thanks
D.

D.,
I used Dr. Hugo Perez in Clearwater, just North of the Countryside Mall off of US 19. His number is ###-###-#### he's a big Cuban Teddy bear! I loved his office staff, they remember your name, they are always very sweet and helpful too!

I used him last year for my 4th baby and had a wonderful experience.

Congrats on your baby!

Feel free to email if you want more info.

Contemporary Women's Care is wonderful. It is an all female staff with a couple of doctor's and 4 great midwives. They delivered my daughter and will be delivering my son in December. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and bedside manner is always A+.

They have 2 locations. The one I go to is on Seminole Blvd. just a block north of Park Blvd. The other is located on Court St. I believe near Morton Plant Hospital. Seminole location phone # is ###-###-####.

I go to Contemporary Womens Care in Clearwater, but I believe they also have an office in Seminole. It's an all female practice and I love it there! Here is the link...

I go to OB/GYN Associates in St. Petersburg. They are located just east of 66th St on 38th Ave N near St. Pete. General Hospital. I see the midwives there and really like them and the office staff. ###-###-####.

Good luck!

Dr. Tracey Fansler....she is located on Seminole Blvd....next to Largo mall. Awesome!! Dr. Delgado is very popular as well, but I would think hard to get an appointment with. Dr. Fansler just open her new office next to the mall and is probably easier to get in to see. I prefer Fansler, but that's just my opinion. My last pregnancy though I went with Labor of Love in Dunedin which is a Midwife and it was AWESOME!!! I can't reccomend them enough!

Don't go to Lerner, Rudolph & McCance in Clearwater. I love McCance but it's a practice of 8 doctors and you can never guarantee who you will see. I've had several bad experiences with some of the other doctors, and now it's too late for me to change to another practice. I wish I had changed a while ago; now I don't know if the person delivering my baby is someone I trust (like McCance) or a really rude idiot (like at least one of the other doctors there, I won't say but if you message me I will tell you).
