Hi C.,
My name is T. and I live in a suburb of Minneapolis. I have a 15 year old daughter from a high school/college relationship and am now married to a wonderful man. Together, we have an almost 6 year old and an almost 3 year old.

My daughter is in 10th grade which, in our district, is her first year of high school. We have STRUGGLED the past 6 years with our relationship for many reasons. I just try to work on me and let her be her. I would love to have someone to talk with because most of my friends/neighbors have younger children.

Email me directly at: ____@____.com We are switching servers so my email will change in about a week. I don't know what it will be though. Hopefully I'll hear from you in the next couple of days!

T.

I have two daughters as well, ages 16 and 13. Would love to meet on the phone or over coffee. Not much support out there for moms of teens. I'm in Forest Lake. Feel free to email me at ____@____.com. Maybe we can get a group going. I am an at home mom with a lot of volunteer stuff going on but I do manage to find time for myself now and then.

Hi C.,

I have a 13 year old daughter that I had when I was a teenager myself. She was a child that could do no wrong until she was about 10, then she started becoming rebellious just like I was. She can be very good, but lately she is grounded all the time, usually for being late coming home or telling me she hates me. Tonight I grounded her another week because she was using the phone while she was still grounded, so she took off on me - just said bye. I have no idea where she is - I've called her friends that I know and even sent her dad to a boy's house looking for her. I need to find new ways to deal with her.
