Seeking Parent Group

Hi L., there is a Meetup group called Littleton Moms in Motion (search in meetup.com). Its kind of a new group (new organizer at least) so there aren't a bunch of meetings, but they are working on it. Its pretty much moms from the SW Plaza area, so they walk Clement, swim at the Ridge, occasionally do playdates, etc. Do you get the Columbine Courier? There are several moms groups in the back pages that I have been wanting to check out. On Wed mornings there is a group that meets for coffee at Foothills Bible Church (C-470 & Bowles) and lots of MOPS groups too.

They do alot of great things- meetings, moms night out, playgroups, book clubs, working mom lunches, etc.....

There is a MOMS Club Denver South, also Mothers and More, and Moms of Denver, all have websites.

You could try meetup.com. You sign up by zip code, and can choose groups that are as near or far away as you want. there are several play groups in the Littleton area. I don't know about dogs specifically, but there are groups for every intereset, it seems. I've joined several groups. Some really take off. Others don't. You can also sign up to get an e-mail alert when a new group is formed, if you don't find what you are looking for right away.

I go to a Mom's group at a church called The Rock in Littleton. It meets on Wednesdays at 11 am. We do all kinds of things. Sometimes we just play at the church and have lunch. Other times we go to the park or bounce house or something else. It's just a bunch of moms and kids of all ages getting together. There's no agenda or pushing to attend the church. I'm also new to the area, I live in Lakewood, but just barely. I have a 4 1/2 year old sone and 19 month old daughter and I'm always ready to meet other moms and go to the park or something.
