Hi, My name is D. & I have a 2 year old. I am an organizer of a mommie meetup group. You can go on Meetup.com to find mommie groups and that is also where you can find mine. The name of my group is Dacula Weekend Playgroup. I am a working mom, so I needed something for the weekends. Hope it all works out.

There are a bunch of groups out there. I just signed up with momsclub.org, but it doesn't start until September so I don't know how it is. The group I signed up with meets at cannon united methodist church on web ginn house rd. There is also meetup.com with mommy groups that do activities. My son is going to be 14 months old so I don't know how playdates would go or if you are looking for kids closer in age, but I am always up for meeting new people. I live in lawrenceville on the border of lilburn. Message me if you would like talk.

Hey Laila! Check out MOMS Club (momsclub.org is the website, I think), which has playgroups and activities for moms within a certain area (they go by zip code, so everything is nearby!). Also check out atlantaareamommies.com. They also do playgroups and outings. Both of these resources have been wonderful for me and my 18-month-old. HTH!
