Seeking Pediatrician in the Woodlands

Hi I am looking for a new pediatrician. I love the one we are seeing right now, I am just not crazy about the staff or the other doctors. I am looking for a small office, one that doesn't have a lot of other doctors. Also a doctors office that wont get frustrated with extra worries or concerns I might have. I would be willing to drive a bit.

Thanks!

I always say that I will never refer my pedi because I dont want the appointments taken when I call. But I felt the need to respond. Champions Pediatrics on Louetta. I have been with him for 9 1/2 years. He treats my three children ages 10, 6 and 4. He also treats my niece and nephews. He knows my entire family (mom, sisters, children...) as soon as he sees us and the kids love him. They are never afraid to see him. They actually ask to see the "nice" doctor. He is extremly thorough. It is a little drive from The Woodlands. But I would drive anywhere he is located. BTW, he recently added another Dr. to his practice, I cannont speak for her since I have never seen her.

Hi A.-

I go to Step Pediatrics in The Woodlands and have been very happy with them. There are 3 pediatricians in the office and Dr. Purcell is our's. We see her for our well checks and other visits that are scheduled in advance. For most "same day" appointments we're not able to get in with her but will see the nurse practitioner who is awesome. I'm always more than happy to see her.

My husband and I go to The Village Medical Center in The Woodlands and like them very much. They do have a pediatrician on staff and I highly recommend them but they are a large office so there are several doctors.

Good luck,
K.

My kids have gone to Kelsey Sebold since birth. For the last 7 years Dr Ahma Sidiqui has been their pediatrician and is wonderful, thorough, and my kids like her. She will ask about the ones not there when I take a child in (& 2 are 18 next week). The nurses are great too. Kelsey is at St Lukes Medical Office II (2) at FM 242 & I-45 south feeder. Their # is ###-###-####.

A., We use Forest Pediatrics on College Park Dr. My son sees Dr. Ferstmann and my daughter see Dr. Elahee. They are both wonderful, the staff is warm and caring, (funny too!). They have extra hours during the school year when every one is getting the colds and flu. They even have Saturday hours. Our previous homeowner (whom we purchased our house from 7 years ago), highly recommended Dr. Ferstmann. After a really bad experience at another very large perdiatricians office, I remembered the reccommendation, and we have been there ever since. We love, love, love them!

We love our pediatrician (we have been with her for 10 years). She is affiliated with Texas Children's Hospital. The office is located on Medical Plaza Drive across from The Woodlands Hospital. Our regular doctor is Dr. Haggerty, if she is booked, we see Dr. Formica. Both women are great. Every concern we have, they answer them without hesitation. The number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps. -- L.
