Seeking Pediatrician Who Is Willing to Use Alternative Immunization Schedule

I am seeking a pediatrican who will be willing to work with me on an alternative immunization schedule for my child (preferably in Littleton area but will drive anywhere in metro Denver area for a good doctor). There are certain shots that I do NOT want her to receive. I would prefer a D.O. over an M.D., but they are hard to find in Denver. I would also consider a "family practice" physician.

What can I do next?

I have LOVED Dr. Julie Cordova and the Littleton Pediatrics team. I chose an alternative imm. schedule with my 2nd child, and she was completely supportive of that. She is wonderful at really listening to parents, and both of my children adore her. Good luck!

You could ask Pediatric Pathways in Littleton if they'd accomodate you.

I LOVE Partners in Pediatrics. They have an office near Sky Ridge that would be closest to you. We don't vax at all, and they are OK with that (not their preference, but they don't give me a hard time about it). They sell herbal and homeopathic remedies in their office, and even mix custom bach flower blends for your kiddos, if needed. I would see Jerry Rubin, Danny Kamlet, Dana McHale or Brian Kono. Avoid Nancy Latitus. It is a group practice, but there are many great providers in it. I only go for well checks, and the above docs are the ones I have met that have been really open to low intervention and natural remedies. Their website is http://www.partnersinpediatrics.com/

Hi A.,

I recently switced to Partners in Pediatrics. When you become a patient there they actuall give you a great book with childhood homeopathic remedies to try first. The have a sick waiting room and a healthy waiting room. They are very open to an alternitive vaccination schedule. The staff is so friendly. They have several locations, the one we visit is located off I25/Lincoln.

If you want to go West, Dr Brazelton. I haven't been to him but know of him from working with him in the Juice Plus community. If you dont know about Juice Plus visit my website DenverJuicePlus.com, it HAS kept us out of the doctors office!

Welcome to Denver & I hope that helps!

L.
