We went to Afton Apple Orchard last week and it was great and very family friendly. We will definitely be going back in the fall for apples and pumpkins.

I second the applewood orchard response. It is a great place. Not to big/not too small. Pretty much do your own thing.

yes! we *just* went to applewood orchard this morning for the first time, it's located in lakeville and was *awesome*

this upcoming weekend is their last weekend of strawberry picking...they said they should have raspberries by the end of the month.

There was a place on hwy 55 heading w 12 miles out. Which would be past Medina and Hamel. I have not been there but want to try it.
Also there is a spot in Waconia that I am visiting with the Girl Scouts I will let you know if that is any good.
