I am a WAHM (work at home) of a 20 month old daughter and I am looking for a weekly playgroup or playdate. It could be at my home or yours, at the park, etc. Just looking for something to get her interacting with other kiddos, she loves kids!

Did you ever hear about LAMB? The church on Rittenhouse Square holds playgroups for children ages 0-4 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10-12. It costs $5.00 per session and you have preregister because they only accept 20 children at a time. It is a little far from South Philly but worth the trip if you can get in some sessions that aren't already filled! Check it out at this website:

There is a public play group in South Philly at 9th & Federal. (Right near Pat's & Geno's cheese steak vegas.) The play group takes place in the Capitolo playground, and on rainy or too cold days inside at there 1/2 court gym. All the toys there are donated and it's run by a bunch of great neighborhood moms. The play group is for kids 0 to 4 years ONLY. It's held on Fridays from 10 Am to Noon.
I have a 17 month old girl, so maybe we'll see you there.
