Hi there. I had a luncheon at Citrus Bar and Grill - on around 75th/Amsterdam. They have a great private room downstairs. I think we had about 60-70 people there. We did a buffet lunch and it was very reasonable. Good luck!
Hi, This is my first post and I was wondering if anyone knew of a nice restaurant that will hold 55 people for a brunch on the Upper East Side or West Side. I'm trying to have a nice get together to celebrate this wonderful event but am limited on my funds. I want to find a nice inexpensive place. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are 2 restaurants that both the service and the food are fantastic!!! Only thing is that they are both in the
Riverdale section of the Bronx. (Nice sector.)
1. Land and Sea Restaurant 231 St. and B'way
Tel. 1718-###-###-#### Also makes alot of vegetarian dishes
as well; prices are fairly resonible and great portions!!!
Decor is very--- nice.
2. Riverdale Diner 236th St. off B'way. Also very nice.
My sister had a wedding luncheon reception there; don't
remember their number but you can call 411 and ask.
Also another very nice diner that is on the upper west side
3. Strand Diner located right on 96th St. bet. B'way and
Amsterdam. Also great food, great portions and fairly
resonible prices. Sorry, you'll have to check 411 about
their phone number as well! Good service too!!! I have
4 children and we've gone there to celebrate graduations
birthdays!!!
Good luck. R. C.
Landmarc at the Time Warner Center is a big restaurant that could accommodate that size of a party...they have great brunch items, and are not too expensive. Here's their website: http://www.landmarc-restaurant.com/twc/
i just went to a bridal shower on the upper east side at a place called Clancy's. You'll have to look it up but the party room was very nice and private.
We had my daughter's baptism at O'Neal's by Lincoln Center, and it was perfect.
