CLR or Lime Away works with little to no scrubbing. Magic Erasers work well, too, without the added chemicals, but you'll have to work a little harder.

There's a cleaner called 'No Work Daily Shower Cleaner' and you spray it on the shower walls after a shower, when there is still water on the walls. There is no need to wipe or squeegee and it keeps the shower scum free.

No scrub method that is natural! buy really cheap 1 ply toilet paper. unroll sript to length of door & spray wet with lemon juice. Continue to "wall paper" shower doors. Let sit for 40-60 minutes, then wipe paper off & throw away. Rinse door & spray with WD 40 & wipe thoroughly. I do this monthly & once you get the hang of it, takes just a few minutes.

Vinegar! It works great getting the buildup off coffee pots and refrigerator water dispensers, too. On shower doors, you may need to wet down paper towels and let them "stick" to the doors for a while so the vinegar can really work. Good luck.

I've used Kaboom before and that does a good job. It only lasts for about a week though.

Shaklee has the best nontoxic cleaning products. They have been featured on Oprah's show many times and are used by the Costeau Society, the White House and the VP's residence. You can find them at http://www.shaklee.net/healthforlife
And, if you switch to their cleansers you will never have the residue again.

D. D., I have the exact question that you do. I've tried several products, but the residue is still on my glass shower doors. If you find an answer, would you please share it with me. Thank You!

Ha! I just removed mine last night (doors that is), and spent the better part of the evening removing caulking , re caulking and installing a curtain rod!
I just got tired of the whole "scrub until you're numb" scenario, only to have the doors look the same within 2 days.
Honestly, this is easier - just toss the curtain in the wash once in a while.
