I am turning 31 this month and would love to loose at least 25lbs in the next few months. I am trying to eat right and exercise. However I dont seem to be getting any where. I was wondering if any of you have tried the slim quick pills? Has it helped jump start your weight loss? Has it given you more energy? I cant have any artificial sugars so I could only take the pills and not the drinks.

What can I do next?

Take a look at the book; 21 pounds in 21 days. It is not a diet it is a detox program that will jump start your metabolism and you will lose weight. Read it and see if it is for you.

don't order acai berry online. It does help with increased energy but there is a crash that goes with it.

There is no magic pill that is going to make you lose weight. If it does, you will gain back more than you lost! I would suggest joining Weight Watchers. I lost 25 lbs and my husband lost 35. It's a healthy way to lose weight, you're eating regular food so you're not deprived, and it's easy to maintain. You're obviously not eating the right balance or your portions are too much if you're trying to eat right and exercise and it's not working. Contact Weight Watchers. Yo will have more success than with a pill...and with no side effects! Good luck.

Sorry to totally change your subject, but have you considered Weight Watchers? You can do it online and all it really does is teach you how to eat so you can be full with less calories.

I used Weight Watchers online (and exercise 5-6 days a week)after my oldest turned 1 (when I stopped nursing) and I lost over 40 pounds in about 5 months. Have kept it off too!

Just another option. Good luck!

Hi M. -
I have tried them and they did not do much for me. The commercials look right on, but I did not lose anything.

About 3 weeks ago I tried a product that IS working for me though.
I also am doing herbal wraps - they take inches off and target the toxins in your body NOT water. These are also amazingly affordable.

If you want more info on either, let me know.

Good luck - I know, we reach a certian age and it does get harder to look like we use to lol.

Have a great day!

I have not tried them, but I remember seeing something on TV in the last few days reccommending that people don't take them. Their have been a lot of cases of heart problems and one death. I don't remember exactly what it was, so maybe google it for more info. Are you counting calories? Maybe you are eating more than you think? Good Luck. I want to lose 15 lbs. and I know how hard it is. My biggest problem is my head. I will eat great for a day, then the next I will slip up and say the heck with it the rest of the day. Let me know if you're interested in an on-line weight-loss buddy, maybe some accountability would do the trick.

Been into health food for quite some time now. And have looked at the changes in expert advise on exercise over the years. Right now (as seen in mags here and there) interval training does more to burn fat than slower steady workouts. Save time ( a precious commodity) and look at short bursts of intense exercise followed by lower intensity and back and forth. Also, weight training will help build muscle which burns more energy, even in your sleep. ( I really like that part)
I do not think there is some great magic pill out there that works for everyone, but some supplements are reputed to do more to boost fat loss WITH other good lifestyle changes. (The key will be the permanent life style changes you make...eating and exercising AND healthy sleep...an oft ignored piece of the puzzle)
Whatever changes you make... be sure they will fit your taste, situation, philosophy for the long term. (I could tell you all about the incredible weight loss possible from cutting grain and flour out of your life, but I admit that diet was hard for me to stay with for long!)
I have heard good stuff about Fucothin...at health food stores and internet. I am thinking about trying that.

After reading all of the other responses, I am the only person Slim Quick has worked for. I started using it at the end of January and so far have lost 15 pounds! It gives me more energy but not the jittery energy other pills gave me. I am also in a better mood through out the day. I also cut calories and started working out more. I think the Slim Quick pills give me more energy not only to work out but not crash after, so then I can still keep up with my daily chores and not snap at my kids because I'm so tired. I hope you find something that works for you and you are successful in your weight loss journey, good luck!

Yes, I tried those pills, and many others, and NO, none of them worked, because I refused to admit that the ONLY healthy way to lose weight was the good old fashioned way of, Cut calories, increase exercise. I joined Jillian Michael's website for $14 a month. Jilliam (JM) e-mailed me exercises I could do in my own home with only an exercise ball and hand weights. She also has a diet plan, but I found it too difficult to follow while working and raising a family. I followed the caloric intake she suggested, and I lost 20 pounds in 5.5 months. It was a long process, but 2 years later, I am still down 18 pounds! What most people learn is that if the weight comes off quickly, it will return quickly.
If you can get yourself in a habit of drinking half your body weight in ounces of water EVERY day, you WILL begin to lose weight. At first you are in the bathroom all the time, but your body adjusts, and the weight begins to fall off. Set a goal of 2-3 pounds per week, get friends or buddies to help support your goals, and you WILL achieve your goal. There will be good days and bad, but your buddies will be there to pick you up, celebrate your successes, and kick you to move on toward your goal. You CAN do it.
Good luck!
