I think you're scared and hoping that someone will say something that will make you not go to the hospital. But that's not smart, and you know that.
Go to the hospital. You have to do it.

Could be a zillion different things... Lower left pain could point to diverticulitis, ovarian cyst/torsion, ectopic pregnancy, referred appendicitis pain, gas, constipation, or even a gi virus. Only you know how bad the pain is...
On a scale from 1 to 10 - if your pain is 7 or higher? You should be at an urgent care or ER.
I am NOT trying to be mean here - but your body is telling you something isn't right, you don't think it's gas - so you want to ask people who are NOT doctors to assess you? I'm sorry - but when you are in a LOT of pain and it's NOT receding after time but moving? GO TO THE DOCTOR!!
no one can diagnose you over the internet.
if you're in 'really bad pain' you need to call your doctor and follow her advice.

We are just ordinary people here, P. - not doctors. Even if we were, the symptoms are so general and could be so many things. You need to call your doctor and have him/her or the on-call physician ask you very specific questions. Every doctor has an evening line or an answering service. Don't waste any more time on the internet with severe pain - always always contact a medical professional who has your records or who is in your area. Right away.
"Really bad pain" = Urgent Care or ER visit if you can't get in to see your doctor.
We are not Dr.'s and we are not capable of giving you a diagnosis on a parenting website.
Go to the Dr. Go to ER if you feel you're that distressed or go to a stand alone 24 hour ER.
Get off the internet and go get a proper diagnosis! Get well soon.
That sounds like a kidney stone. If, by some miracle, you still have not gone to the ER, go!!!
Kidney stones are excruciating. There is nothing you can do on your own. You must go to the ER.
I have had many kidney stones, but you are absolutely describing them, especially my first. It started out in my back kind of like menstrual cramps. Then it started getting worse. Then it started spreading around the side of my body and across the front and towards my groin. I couldn't sit. I could stand or lie down. That's all. My uncle said, "It's probably a pulled muscle. I'm sure it will go away in a few weeks." That's when my face went white and every knew that this was so much more than just a pulled muscle and my dad drove me to the ER.
I could be wrong. This could be something else. But it really does sound like kidney stones. Go to the ER!!!
Please call your doctor's 24 hour nurse/advice line.
I'm not a doctor, or medical person. Even if I were, no one here can examine your or tell you what to do. I suggest you call a nurse line (if you have one through your insurance company) or consider a trip to the ER. You don't mention any other symptoms, how long this has been going on, any other conditions, etc. So it could be many things, or nothing. WE Can't know.
I hope you are not alone so someone can drive you if need be.
Call the hospital's advice nurse. Whether or someone else felt pain doesn't help you know what to do. What caused someone elses pain is likely not the cause of your pain. If this pain is different than other pains and happened recently you need to call the advice nurse. There are many reasons for abdominal and back pain, some of which can be life, threatening.
This sounds exactly like appendicitis. Please go to the ER.
Are you constipated? That's usually where people hurt if they are - especially if it moves from back to front. Sometimes that can cause shooting stabbing pains. Especially if a bit of gas is trapped in there.
Or it could be something more serious.
If you are in pain I would suggest talking to a doctor and getting checked out. Good luck
This site can't help you, nor should we try. Please go see a doctor ASAP!
Did you go to the doctor? You really should have.
Please do let us know how you are.
