I need ideas for a 7th year old boy's birthday. I've had a house party every year with a bouncy because I always have so many family and friends to invite. This year my son wants to invite friends from his basketball team and school. There will be about 30 kids. Any ideas? I live in the South Bay area but am willing to travel up to 20 minutes. Help please!
I just did my 7 years old boy in a bowling alley, they had pizza, drinks, I brought the cake
and they got goodie bags included. My son even got a real pin where everyone signed
a Happy Birthday Wish. Last year I made a Barnyard Zoo, they loved it too, that was a little
more expensive though .
Bowling is a good one. Adventureplex in Manhattan Beach offers various parties for kids. Kids Concepts is another idea too. Good luck!
Check out Mulligan's in Torrance. They have miniature golf, go karts, batting cages, laser tag, arcade, etc. I went there for the first time a few nights ago and was surprised at the reasonable prices for golfing and go karts. They also offer birthday packages.

Bless you and your family:) Well my kids are now teen's 17 & 15. When they were 7 or so I had a bowling party. The bowling ring takes care of clean up and serving! they kids had alot of fun and we made it where it was glow in the dark games:) It was awsome! They also got a pin and were able to have their friends sign it! They still have it:) Good luck and I hope it helps:)

Since you have a boy that is into sports make it easy on yourself and throw and ESPN sports party at a local park. Do a basketball and flag football tournament and a bouncy and crafts station for any girls our younger kids present. Video tape the games and make copies to give to parents as a keepsake later.
1. BASKETBALL: Break the kids up into 4 or more teams and let them play games (on mutliple courts) to get to a championship game. You can even give each kid a medal for participation, or do some kind of small championship trophy.
2. Rent the jumper and set it up in the park as well for any girls that don't want to deal with the sports. They can also enjoy the playground at the park.
3. T-shirt/canvas bag design station for girls: This is another option where you have fabric paints and black t-shirts for the girls to design something for themselves.
4. If you have time you can also do a flag football tournament using the same logic as the basketball thing. There is a company called S&S that sells an entire flag football kit for a great price. Do a search online. Once again split into a few teams and play short 5 to 10 minute games and then a championship.

Hi L., Does he like trains? There is a train park in San Pedro or somewhere with in about 20-30 mins.
It's different, and simple. I have found the reptile shows to be very interesting too. My son has been fascinated when he has seen it. It may be cool for a large group. Too much $$? about 200 but call for sure.
Forget the party bags, there is so much $$ spent on stupid stuff, no one even looks in them once they're in the car, eat the candy...i'm a grinch on wasting money.
I would rather have better food or entertainment.
