Hi,

My 2 year old found a pen in the car a few weeks ago and decided to draw on the leather seats of my minivan, does anyone now how to get rid of them?

Thank you,

What can I do next?

My daughter did the same thing on our brown leather sofa. Believe it or not, the thing that got it out was hairspray. I sprayed a little bit on and dabbed it up with a wet towel. can hardly notice it now!

did you try baby wipes on the leather? It works. I dont know how bad the stain is, but leather seat, leather purses, no matter, baby wipes work!

City Furniture sells a leather cleaning kit which includes a ink remover made especially for leather couches. Worked for me. The ink doesn't come off right away but will disappear in 24 hours.

I think rubbing alcohol will take it off.

Hello Dione;

Did you try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser yet? Those things take off just about everything! I like the heavy duty ones because they don't fall apart as easy as the ones in the blue box. You could also try hair spray because of the alcohol in it or try alcohol.

Dione,

Spot Shot (It's in the same isle along with "Resolve" stain remover. It is in a navy blue can with an orange cap.) This stuff works wonders. You may have to spray and scrub with a wet rag over and over again, but it should do the job. :) Hope it works for you. Oh, and it works wonders on stains for carpet and clothes too! :)

The gal who cuts my hair thought her brand new leather couches were ruined. She was very happy that the Mr Clean Magic Eraser worked like a charm and didn't leave any residue or bleach stains behind (her couch was chocolate brown). Good luck!
