I am having the hardest time getting stickers off of my daughters clothes. There were times that I didn't knwo that she had stickers on then put the clothes in the laundry. Well they were washed & dried & now I cant get the backing of the sticker off the clothes. If anyone has any advice please let me know.
Ok ...so I took the advice of Amanda & I rubbed lemon juice & ice on it. Well it worked. Thank you. I honestly didnt know how to get it off
I understand what you mean.... give this a try if you haven't already..... three things actually,,, first I would try some rubbing alcohol ,, dampen the spot and rub the sticky's away,, if that doesn't work or you can't use it on certian fabric, ( like satin) wal mart sells a item called " goo be gone" it's in the laundry area and it's fabulous...
rub a combo of ice chips and lemon juice on them, rewash
ive never had to deal with that but try soaking them in steaming hot water. i dont think cold water will do any good. also maybe some shout will work. it works on everything for me.
You might try Goo Gone. I don't know whether it works on fabric - you should definitely read the back before you try it. And probably even put it on a small part that can't be seen to test it. I haven't tried it on clothes, but I know it works to get that gooey sticker stuff off other things like refrigerators.

There is some stuff they sell at Lowes, I will try to find out the name of it and get back to you. It worked really well for me for stuff like this.
Maybe try soaking them in dishwater and then scrubbing them off? That's the only thing I can think of.
I was going to tell you about "GOO-GONE" but I see that you have already been informed of it's wonders. good luck on the clothing that you've already laundered.

Goo gone should work on them. don't use the other stuff because it is not safe for fabric.
Try a product called Goo Be Gone. It can usually be found in the paint supplies section at Wal Mart. It's intended for use on carpeting and counters so test a small patch of clothing in a hidden spot first. Or try freezing the garment and then "cracking" the leftover sticker off.
