Hi M.,
Sorry to hear about the stretch marks. I don't want to sound like an advertisement, but I make a belly butter that's been really successful at preventing stretch marks and could help fade what you've got right now.
I started making the butter when I was pregnant with my first. A bunch of my friends were pregnant at the same time, so I made it as a little gift for all of us. One of my friends continued to use it after her c-section -- on her scar. One day I made a comment about how bad my scar looked and she exclaimed, "Aren't you putting your Muddah Buddah on it?!" The thought had never crossed my mind. I became pregnant again shortly after that. Of course, I used my butter and this time I continued using it on my new c-section scar. I can't believe it, you can hardly see the scar at all. (Unfortunately, that little "pudgy area" is still there in spite of getting back to my pre-baby weight.)
Any way, I was really impressed with how my scar faded after using my product. I even use it on my kiddos. My son took a nasty spill and split his chin open a couple of months ago. It healed, but he had a nasty purple line on his chin. I tried both Mederma and Bio-Oil (both available at WalMart), but they didn't seem to do anything. So, I thought, hey! Why not try the Muddah Buddah. I've been applying it once a day for a couple of weeks now and the scar's already beginning to fade.
Contact me if you're interested. I have a trial size available that's not mentioned on my website. In any case, good luck -- and if you DO find a non-surgical way to get rid of the pudge, I'm all ears!
