Wow--poor kid! I can relate, I've had allergies my entire life--my mom said I had a runny nose my entire childhood and it's not much better now--but the allergy meds do help.
Anyways, it sounds like your son has a cold to me. With his ear problems, I can see why you would worry though. I would call your Dr and see what kind of decongestant they can recommend. All the meds they have given him so far are only for infection (the drops) and his allergies, but it appears that none of them have a decongestant in them (some allergy medicines like Claritan D, do also have a decongestant though, which is why I would first check with your Dr to see.) But a decongestant will hep dry up that fluid and hopefully stop it from getting in his ears. It will also help him breathe better through his nose.
Besides that just watch his mood and his temp. If he becomes lethargic or his temp rises up above 102, I would also be concerned and take him to the Dr.
I see that this is from yesterday too--is he doing better today? My son gets a stuffy nose/cold a lot and it usually just runs it's course, but with your son's fever and his history of ear infections, I would too be concerned.
I'm sure with all of the Dr you've seen, you've done your research but I found this web page with some great info on why child get ear infections: cause, preventative treatments, etc.

I'd get a second opinion and try someone new. He shouldn't be running a fever.. and a fever and hyper? Never heard of that.

Our doc always tells me to use a humdifier for stuffieness. All those meds do sound like a lot, if in doubt keep asking questions. We have used Clariton to clear up runny nose and cough and if you can Benadryl at night (it hypers my kids out so we dont but its good for drying them up). If you have doubt I would share your doubts with the doctor. I hope your sons gets to feeling better soon.

I would go to your pharmacist and tell him/her what you are giving him and that he's having an inability to breathe well still. He can tell you whether or not the medications are compatible. It sounds to me that the infection is still in his ear and with the tube being blocked it cannot drain out.
Check with your pharmacist first today (before night time). All of the allergy meds. are making him hyper and unable to sleep well. After checking on the compatibility of the meds. if his condition doesn't improve I would call the ENT, immediately.
You don't want to have an issue of not breathing well and fever in the middle of the night.
Make sure you write down all the meds. he's taking, what his symptoms are from the hyper activity to the not breathing well, fever, ear pain etc. As your doctor won't have your son's chart with him and you don't want to leave anything out when calling. He needs to be aware of everything in order to make a decision.
Good luck!

Sounds like the professionals may be on the wrong track maybe or your child may need to be seen by different physician. Sometimes one doctor from another group may see things differently and hit the problem on the head the first try. Not all doctors get the diagnosis correctly. But let's say they are on the right track, but now there is fever which seems like a new symptom. If a new sympton presents itself infection is the reason for fever-the body is fighting a infection. Let a physician address the fever. Fever will make anyone uncomfortable and not sleep well.

I would not keep him on all the medicines (nasonex ,zyrtec, singular) Go see a pediatrician. your little one might as well have a reaction to all of those strong medicines. When mine have difficulty breathing, I use an humidificateur, the one with the little compartment you can put eucalyptus in to diffuse.or I put a couple of drops of essential oil ( eucalyptus, lemon ) on a piece of fabric that i put under the pillow.
Good luke.
