Hi...my daughters have a DS Lite and they got a couple of games last year (Kirby Squeak Squad, Scooby Doo) and now I am thinking it is time to get them a couple more. I am hoping to get some suggestions as I don't know what exactly is appropriate (the E rating is good, but also don't know what is fun). Any mom's out there who have games that their girls absolutely love? Thank you.

My daughter is going to be 8 in 2 weeks :-) These are the games she's asking for - Cooking Mama, Prom Fashion and Mario Cart. She has Super Mario Brothers and that is her favorite right now. Oh, also her friend has a "sims" game. They both like that one.

nintendogs, Animal crossing, Pokemon Heart gold or soul silver, comes with a step counter which the more it's used the more their pokemon level up and find cool stuff. so it is a video game but also encourages exercise.

My daughter (7 1/2) says to get the following: Zoo Keeper (you get to take care of the animals), Horses 1 & 2 (perfect for the child that wants to ride but you have no space to take care of them-LOL-they ride and compete also!), and Zootycoo (sp?). Don't forget to look on ebay or craig's list for used ones!
