HI everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of where I can get swimming lessons for my 3 1/2 & 17 month old girls. We are moving from NY to NC shortly and we have a pool here already and are planning on putting one down there. I would like to know if there are places to go or people who would come to your house if you have a pool.

not sure what part of NC you are moving to. I know most YMCA's give lessons.

We too moved from NY to NC(that was a shock:)) 4 years ago and have 3 1/2 and 17 months olds(boys:))Since you will be in Willow Springs there is a YMCA between WS and Fuquay Varina that has a nice pool(or there is another one off Tryon Rd).A lot of life guards from YMCA give private swimming lessons . Or you can check on Craigslist, I have seen tons of ads there as well.

You may want to check out the swim lessons at the Knightdale parks and recreation. They have a very good team of qualified people. Their number is ###-###-####. By the way they have a really good summer camp program also.

Hi M., many city programs offer swim lessons. We are in Raleigh ... and my son has taken swim lessons a few times through Raleigh Parks & Rec.
Where in NC will you be? That would depend on where there are lessons. There are definately places to go. But you want to find one in your area. I am not sure about having someone come to your home.
