Hi K.,
Your baby must be suffering greatly with cutting her teeth.
Ask the Doctor to give you a RX for Hurricane gel to help ease the pain of cutting her teeth.
Hope this helps. Good luck. D.
My 7 month old is teething, getting slight fevers, and now not holding down solid food. Any suggestions on how to help her, or do we just deal with it until her teeth come in.
Thank you all for the advice. I did call the doctor. She told us to lay off the ambesol, and give her baby tylenol for the fever and pain. She asked me about the throwing up, and if it had mucus in it. It does, and she responded that it was because of the excess salivia that she's been swallowing. Whew! Now I can better address her needs, and watch the fevers to make sure they don't get too high.

Teething might cause a really low fever but I don't think it would cause the spitting up. She might be catching a stomach bug.
As others have said, get to the DR.! I am sure your baby will be fine, but there is more than teething going on. Have you introduced any new foods recently? Other than an illness possiblity, your baby may be reacting to a new food in addition to teething. Good luck, but make an appointment to check it out.
Agreed - get to the doctor. Spitting up does not fit with teething. You need to be sure she hasn't ingested something harmful. She may also just have a virus. A stomach bug is most likely, but it is possible her stomach is upset form beign stressed and swallowing a lot of drool.
But at her age, you need to stay super careful that she is hydrated enough, and I would worry with the throwing up. A doctor can make sure she is okay, and tell you how to make her comfortable.
I would check with your Dr., teething should not cause those type of symptoms. Sounds like she has some type of virus.
Hi K...
It's possible that she's got some sort of virus, especially if she's getting fevers. I'd recommend taking her to her pediatrician just to be sure.
Good luck to you!
I've never heard of throwing up being due to teething so I would go ahead and take your little one to the doctor in case its a infection (or at least call to consult by phone).
