Both of my kids had "peek-a-boo" teeth too. Dont worry, you should see it back soon. =)
Is it normal or possible for a babys' tooth to break the surface and then be gone the next day? I am 99.9 % sure I felt a tooth, but it just went away!( I was so excited!)
Any ideas?
still waiting. thanks for the info.!

I went crazy when my baby started teething! I would feel something and get all excited just to find when I tried to show it to some one else it was gone! You probly did feel a tooth! Congrats!
My son's teeth played peek a boo with us for 8 months! We swore he had some and then they were gone and then it seemed like all of a sudden he had a mouth full, so dont worry!
My son's top front teeth did this also!! I saw a little white one day and I got so excited!! I wrote it in his baby book and called the world!! But the next day it was gone....(imagine my disappointment)!! But in about a week, it finally broke through and stayed!! Now he has 10 teeth in all! This is normal though!! Congrats on the teeth!
I believe it is caused by the gums swelling and subsiding, one minute they are there and next there not. I am going through it to right now and my sweet angel has turned into a screaming terror that is refusing to sleep, night and day. Sometimes the first tooth can take weeks to actually break through.
Yep! It happens all the time!
Wow. I thought my Husband was just crazy! He would tell me he saw teeth and i'd check and see nothing. :)
