Thoughts on Lifetime Fitness

I agree with Charlotte. I have never been a member, but I have heard from many people who are members and they all rave about everything! They love the childcare - the staff are usually very well qualified. I too am looking to join soon - but the location in Flower Mound. It's pretty pricey - I think a $200 joining fee and about $50 a month with childcare for two kids. But, when I can do it, I think it will be very worth the money! Let us know what you decide to do and how it all turns out.

I joined Lifetime in Plano right after they first opened and I loved it!! I really think it's the best gym for your money. It is a little pricey, but they have so much to offer and their classes are GREAT!! I highly recommend them! I quit my membership last year while I was pregnant because I was simply too tired and lazy to exercise in the evenings after work, and I was wasting my money. One of these days I'll get to re-join! I don't think they give you a free pass to try it out. They didn't then, but they might now. A lot of members had their children in childcare and I never heard a single negative thing. In the summer, it seems that they have all kinds of programs for children during the daytime, too! They have pools for the kids with waterslides, tons of exercising equipment, and the staff is very friendly, and so are the other members. Good luck!!

I have a memebership in the Carrollton location and just LOVE it. It's a little pricey but it's well worth the money for everything that you get and It's VERY clean which means a lot to me plus their staff is GREAT as well. The childcare is great as well. My son had separation anxiety and they let me bring him in and stay with him a couple times.
I haven't tried the classes yet. I don't think they will allow you to have a week free trial.

We are members at the FM location. We love it!! I've never done a class. I have put my 16 month old in the childcare. And the only thing is that he has gotten sick alot from it. I stay at home with him so he is never around other little ones, but there. Other than that they are great!! I took a couple of months and no he dosn't get sick as much anymore!! Good Luck Its a great place!

We go to Lifetime in Allen and LOVE it. I know they are giving out 4 week guest passes right now. I do several of the classes, not sure which ones you're interested in. They keep it very clean.
