Anyone know of a good place that will take the memory card from our camcorder and transfer the videos to DVDs? I tried the instructions to do this myself by downloading to our computer but it wasn't easy and I'd rather someone who knows what they are doing take care of it :) Just less of a headache if I can have someone else do it.

I know there is a place in Crystal Lake on Crystal Lake Ave. that I used to pass on my way to work. I googled "video transfer gurnee IL" and several placed popped up. If you have any teenage or 20something people in your life, they probably know how to do this as well. I use Ulead video studio on my PC and iDVD on my Mac to transfer videos.
We had our old videos on VHS tapes transferred to DVDs done by Walgreens. We put in the order through the photo lab department and they sent it out somewhere to be done and then returned the finish product to us in about a month or so. Very convenient and easy :0)
VIDEO Gallery Productions! They did our wedding video and did our VHS to DVD and did a great job and reasonable too :)
See if Costco does this.
I know they do it when it is already on tape etc. from camcorder to DVD's.
You might want to check with a videographer. I used Classic Video in Downers Grove to make copies of our wedding DVD and to transfer some VHS to DVDs. I'd bet they'd have the ability to do your project too, but I'm sure there's someone closer to you as well.
