Try www.personalcreations.com. My friend buys many things for my daughter from there. If you know the babies names I highly recommend the stool with the puzzle pieces. It's great.
My teenage nephew and his girlfriend are expecting twin girls in December. His girlfriend and her entire family are very artistic and creative. I am looking for a unique gift idea that will be creative, useful, unique, and preferably something that they can get a lot of use out of. Any ideas?

I used to make people personalized photo albums. You can find people that make them at craft fairs. You can also find cute, unique ornaments.
If you want to learn how to make the photo albums, let me know. It's not that hard.
At my shower I received hand painted onesies. My cousin used a few colors of fabric paint on white onesies and did different designs. They aren't anything complicated, just circles, diamond shapes, etc. I have also heard of people using puffy paint on different colored t-shirts.
You could do a few in different sizes so as the baby grows they have new ones to take out and enjoy. Good luck!
One thing you can do is what someone did to me. Get a baby clothes basket ( or a regular sized one doesn't matter) and put whatever you wish inside ( diapers, clothes, bottles, wipes, etc.) and then get the present wrapping string, but it has to be the thicker kind and weave the whole top of the basket shut. it is hard work to open and is very amusing.
There are several companies [easy to find online] that make very personal blankets. For example, they will embroider or sew the names of family members, pets, friends, or any words you like around a satin blanket boarder. Just becareful to read about the quality...some are definitely better than others. I've found that the thermal or waffle knit blankets are the softest and of the highest quality. Everyone seems to love these blankets--especially the kids. Good Luck!
