I use Snapfish for my photos and I really enjoy it. You can divide your photos into albums and then invite people to view your albums. It makes it nice because not everyone can view all your albums...the site also lets you embelish your photos and order prints for really great prices!! Hope that helps.

If you do myspace.com and make it private ---- only your approved friends can see your files.

If you start a Yahoo group --- same thing.

There is also inbox.com which allows you a free email addy and file storage you can give folks access to.

Our family uses picasa it is free to download just go to www.picasa.com when you upload your pictures you have the option to have the pictures private or public we just clock private every time. What you do is just set up one account for your whole family and tell everyone the password then they can all log on from any computer any time and look at all of the pictures it is really cool! You can use myspace.com to as a place to invite your friends, and to keep strangers from viewing your pics you can make your profile private and only those who you invite and accept will be able to view what you have on there.

We use www.blogger.com which is a service of Google, so you'd need to sign up with a Google account. We love it, it's very user friendly and has all the security you're looking for. Enjoy!

Actually, I use Snapfish. Not only can you invite only certain people to see them, BUT you can get any of the pictures that you post printed on photo paper and sent directly to your house. I've used it for years and I love it!

I have been really getting into a website that is called myspace. The only thing if you only want certain people to view your pictures all thoose people have to have a myspace account as well. It is free if you and your family and friends dont mind signing up for the site. Just remember to go through the account settings and mark the box to put your pictures to only be viewed by friends.....

I know it probably sounds cliche but I use myspace for that. You can list yourself as "private and only your "friends" can see your photos. I love it!! If it wasnt for that Id have lost touch with everyone and it was the only way I could keep my inlaws happy without having to call them every week! Yahoo photos is great too you can pull them up fast and email them out fast.
