What Are Your Favorite Fun & Silly Children's Songs?

We listen to a CD called "Songs for WiggleWorms". I downloaded it to my IPOD and my DD ( 14 mos) absolutely loves it. We listen to that CD everyday (in the car, in the kitchen, in the playroom) and my daughter is learning to act out a lot of the songs now. It really is so much fun.

We also really like Elizabeth Mitchell's music. I have given most of my friends her CDs as gifts and I have always received wonderful feedback.

If you have ITunes...it is a great place to sample various songs and artists. I couldn't live without it. Just type in 'toddler music' in the search window and see where it leads you.

I strongly suggest you google the Hanen Centre, and look at their CDs. So many children's CDs sing the music way too fast for young children to copy and enjoy. The Hanen songs (children's favorites) are sung at an age appropriate rate - so they are fun and beneficial (O.K., I guess that is really the mom and speech-language pathologist in me talking to you : ))

Veggie Tales : Oh Where Is My Hairbrush!

Anything by The Wiggles. My son loves their "Top Of The Tots" music. And strangely enough, my DH and I don't find it annoying like most other kids music we have to hear over and over ;)

Sesame Street has a great DVD that has Elmo's Favorite Songs; it has Wheels on the Bus; Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes; On top of Spaghetti, etc. There are lots of clips with other children singing songs. My children really love it.

My daughter and I love Dan Zanes, he is on Disney and you can check him out at his website www.DanZanes.com. My dd favorite song is, 'All Around the Kitchen', she loves to spin around and around in the kitchen while dancing.

The wheel on the Bus, Head, shoulders, knees and toes are our favorites.

I ADORE Laurie Berkner! I think we have almost every CD that she has made! My kids LOVE to dance to her fun music and silly lyrics!
