I like to make my own, but if we are in a crunch for time or if I just want to make a pizza I use Emeril's Homestyle Marinara. It's great!
My parents are visiting this weekend and my mother has requested that I make eggplant parmesan because I have a ton of eggplant growing in my garden and she has never had it. I usually use Ragu Garden Vegetable but I'm getting a little tired of that one.
We ended up frying the eggplant since my Mom brought a cooler full of frozen steaks! But I did buy a jar of Classico to try and plan on working my way through this list. Thanks for all of the responses!

My favorite is actually semi-homemade. I use Wildtree hearty spaghetti sauce blend (dry herbs), can of tomato sauce, can of diced tomatoes, chopped onions and green and red peppers, and ground beef. This is awesome! My neighbor sells Wildtree (all-natural herbs and culinary blends, plus lots more!). What's great about it is you can make the base sauce (which is great alone) and add whatever veggies you like to it (we like ours chunky and meaty).
My 2nd favorite to this is the Bertolli brand, we like the garlic and basil flavor.
I make my own from scratch if you would like the recipe.
It is a family favorite.....I keep a jar in the fridge and some frozen as backup.
BTW...Hubby is authentic Italian and he LOVES this.
Newman's Sockarooni or marinara
I like most of the Classico red sauces. My family's favorite is Italian Sausage with Peppers and Onions.
The best is homemade, hands down!! My family has always eaten the jarred sauce until about 8 months ago, when I found a really easy, but yummy recipe. Now, that is ALL they will eat, the jarred stuff is banned. LOL! Here is the link to the recipe, and you can add or take out what you like..... http://www.recipezaar.com/Jo-Mamas-World-Famous-Spaghetti...
i love Newman's stuff too! organic/natural ingredients at a good price.
Love, love, love Newman's Marinara Sauce. Yummmmmmy!
Classico tomato basil is my favorite.
If not making your own, I LOVE the Classico brand. Their creamy alfredo beats everyones, but for red sauce we use mostly the sausage one too (seems to be popular from your responses).
I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the "nicer" store brand at Tom Thumb or Kroger, but, hands down, my true favorite is the organic marinara at Costco (we've bought it at the Frisco and Southlake locations). It's amazing--truly better than anything else I've had. That and the organic chicken broth at Costco make me look like a much better cook than I really am!
Classico tomato basil and Classico sausage w/peppers and onions.
Classico...they have a new carmelized onion and garlic that is awesome!
We used to use Ragu all the time (Tomato, Onion and Garlic is still my favorite Ragu one) until I discovered Classico --- LOVE the Four Cheese!
