My new fav website is fammilyfun.com it has crafts and recipes and EVERYTHING you could want. They even have a day by day menu for every month, and not only can you print the recipes but you can print instant shopping lists for those recipes you want as well. very easy. i've made about 4 of them this week alone and they've all been big hits, and shopping for them was NOT expensive, for the entire month i spent less than 200 bucks for full dinners, and they are healthy homemade meals that are fast and pretty easy.

These are two recipes I got recently off of my Lima Moms Network from fellow moms with the same prob as you and myself. I am SO sick of the same stuff and I have a VERY picky 6 yr. old that I try to accommodate within reason.....
I haven't tried either one yet, but am trying the mini meatloves tomorrow night, I am sure they will be a hit, and I think they will be "cool" to the boys....
I am gonna keep an eye out for other recipes.....
GOOD LUCK

Chicken and Green Bean Casserole

1/4 cup of milk
1 can cream of chicken
1 box of Stove Top
¼ cup melted butter or margarine
2 small cans of chunk chicken, drained
2 cups of frozen green beans (thawed)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 11X7 baking dish with cooking
spray.
In a small bowl, mix soup and milk until well blended. In another
small bowl mix stuffing crumbs and melted butter. In the baking dish
layer chicken, green beans, soup mixture and add stuffing mixture on
top. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until casserole is hot and
bubbly.

1 pkg. (6oz) Stove Top Stuffing Mix

1 cup water

1 tsp. garlic powder

powder until well blended. Press evenly into 12 medium muffin cups
sprayed with cooking spray; make an indentation in center of each with
back of spoon.

SPOON barbeque sauce evenly into indentations in meatloaves.

BAKE 30 min. or until meatloaves are cooked through. Top evenly with
shredded cheddar cheese; continue baking 5 min. or until cheese is
melted. Let stand 10 min. before serving.

Make Ahead

Prepare as directed. Remove from muffin cups; cool completely. Place
in single layer on baking sheet; freeze until firm. Transfer to
airtight container. Store in freezer up to 1 month. Thaw in
refrigerator, then reheat in 375°F-oven for 20 min. or until heated
through.

I second what Shaun C said. Kraftfoods.com is my go-to place for a quick easy dinner that tastes great. They've got tons of every kind of dinner and I love the reviews because I can see how it's been rated and what other people may have done differently. Some of my favorites are the Easy-bake cheddar biscuits, the beef noddle bowl, and the crisp and creamy baked chicken. But there's a million other good ones on there. and you can print them out reecipe card size.

Kraftfoods.com it an amazing website. They have great recipes and they are super easy. The best part is, most of the stuff is staples that you have in the house anyway! Their 1 bag 5 nights recipe section is great. They give you enough recipes to get you through the week. Admittedly, some of them do get a little repetative (I can only eat mac n cheese so much) but they're great to get you started and get some new recipe ideas. Cooks.com is another good one.

The easiest recipes my family loves is Smoked Sausage. I cut the sausage up into serving size pieces (like four bites) and put it in the crock pot with potatoes peeled and cut into chunks (the smaller the chunks the less cook time) and a big can of green beans with a bit of water added. I throw it into the crockpot in the morning and supper is ready and smelling good when they get home from school. Just remember that the smoke sausage is greesy, so I like to squeeze the 'juice' out with paper towels as I put it on their plate. Hope that helps, I love the crock pot :)

S.,
My mom always did a simple thing with rice a roni. Let's say for the chicken rice a roni she would take a few pieces of chicken cook them up and then add them to a box of rice a roni like it would normally cook. She would also do beef strips and add it to the beef rice a roni and then maybe add a side of corn for a veggie. It's fairly simple and I'm sure there combo ones you can do. My mom did the spanish rice one too.. (I personally don't eat it) She would just brown ground meat, drain and add the box of spanish rice to it. There one pot meals that are easy.. Good luck!~

Hi S.,
I don't know if you are interested in trying Asian food, but this is one of my favorite recipes. It's a regular in my house. Everyone I've ever made it for has liked it enough to ask me for the recipe. I serve it up with rice, some simple instant onion soup (or miso soup if you can find it,) and a small salad.

Iridofu

1 package firm tofu (500 grams, 17.5 ounces)
1 small carrot (thinly sliced)
2-4 shitake mushrooms (thinly sliced)
10-15 frozen green beans (cut into small pieces)
2 Tbsp cooking oil
2 Tbsp soy sauce (weak)
½ -1 Tbsp sake (optional)
1 Tbsp sugar
1 beaten egg

1. Drain tofu of excess water. (Wrap in a kitchen towel or paper towels and place between two dishes with something slightly heavy like a small jar of jam on top of the dish for 30 minutes. Or microwave in a safe Tupperware for 2 minutes and pour the liquid off.)
2. While tofu is draining prepare veggies and egg as indicated above.
3. Heat oil in fry pan. Stir fry carrot and shitake mushrooms for about 3 minutes. (Just until soft, not browned.)
4. Add soy sauce, sake, and sugar.
5. Add tofu and crumble up using a wooden spoon or spatula.
6. Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed.
7. Add green beans.
8. Pour beaten egg over mixture and stir well. It is ready to serve when the egg disappears.
Serves 4 as a main dish.

It's really quick to make too. Especially, if you use the microwave for draining the tofu. It does taste better if you drain the tofu using the towel method, because sometimes the microwave can overdry the tofu. It takes about 20 minutes to make using the microwave versus about 40 minutes without the help of the microwave. Hope you can find some good ideas. Happy cooking,
D.
