i've been seeing a lot of references to the end of school but it doesnt seem to close yet. emmy is done june 20th.
emmy would like it done as of yesterday=) heck she has declared she is running for president so she can make a law that presidents dont have to work and can do what they want all day and not go to school, so i think she was ready for it to be over before it started....yet she wants to be a teacher and a vet...goof=)

are the counting down the days? Emmy is. i told her how many days a sign said the other day and she got upset and asked if i signed her up for extra..apparently she's J. been counting school days and not weekends and that sign had both
June 7. Yes-they can't wait to be done but I did sign them up for summer school so they really only get a week off. But IMO summer school is fun stuff and keeps them on some sort of schedule :)
We also finish June 20. Most people who finish sooner start a lot earlier (like early to mid August). This school year started on September 5 and next year won't start until September 10.
June 28. For extra fun, school is scheduled to resume again on July 17. (I hate, hate, hate year-round school! Have I mentioned that before?! ;) My kids are ready to be out of school. Counting the days!
June 18th here. I think we are all counting the days! Then of course I begin counting the days until they go back...
My kids last day is June 6th. I haven't heard them do a countdown yet, but I'm sure its starting soon
june 14. we start the Tuesday after labor day.--- the kids have pretty much checkedout for the year.. they are done learning. J. want to go outside and play.. maybe cuase we are in Michigan and the winter seemed extra long and cold. but this week it is warm.. and rthey want to play all day..

My 8th grader is fine but my older daughter is graduating this year and has MAJOR senior-itis.
She has definitely got one foot out the door already.
We are ALL counting down the days until she leaves for college, but that's not until the end of August.
Thank God she'll be working this summer!!!
Our schools let out at 1pm on May 24th. We started the first week of August though. We were going to get out earlier, but we had more snow days than were built in the year.
May 24th, but we also start mid August.
May 17th for my preschooler and May 22nd for my kindergartener. Then it's 12 longs weeks at home with Dad during the summer. They both adore school so I have a feeling it may be a long summer for the three of them!
My son's original last day of school was to be May 31st, but due to snow days it was pushed back to June 3rd.
BTW, when did her school year start? My son's started Aug 21st.
My kids get out June 15th :)
June 13th for my kids. They haven't been saying anything about the end of school yet. Memorial Day weekend is normally when they start. We usually go on vacation that weekend and it kicks off our summer trips. This year we'll spend the whole weekend at the local pool (most likely) so I know they would rather be at the pool than school.
The good news is the pool is right next to my office (I work on a Navy base) and so I am going to walk over every day at lunch and get my tan on! They will be there with the sitter, so it's perfect :).
June 7 - We're ALL excited. I love having the kids home in the summer. :)
June 7 is the last day for most of the schools around here and the last exams for High Schoolers.
My daughter will basically be done on June 4 because she is exempt from the exams due to AP testing and grades, BUT she has to show up every day at 9 to be counted present, then come back home. That's a 45 minute RT drive for her.
I believe our first day of school was 8/27.
Graduation is June 12.
Our last day is June 27th, then they will go back on September 3rd. We aren't counting the days yet. They will be when the weather gets warmer. They are still in winter gear.
June 13th is the last day of school where we are.
They start the day after Labor Day in the fall.
Where I grew up the last day of school was in the 3rd week in June.
My kids are done June 6th.
May 15th or somewhere that week.
June 18th. I don't know about my kids, but *I'M* counting the days!
Youngest is done with pre-k on May 31st and my 3rd grader's last day is June 12th.
Neither of them have mentioned it at all.
6/6 is the last day of school (yay!)
6/7 we hit the road for family vacation!
May 23rd is our last day, our first day is August 21 this year.
May 31st is our last day of school ... my son is enjoying the last few weeks of school.
Here:
Public school, ends on May 24th.
They go back to school on Aug.5th.
The last day here is June 6th. Can't wait!
May 9th for preschool - 3 days left!
