There's teaching supply/kids book store down in down town Kent. I forget what the name is but it's just south of the library. They have ton's of stuff. Prices aren't too bad. Occasionally they have coupons.
I'm looking for nice children's art supplies store like Lakeshore Learning in Bellevue. Maybe a little cheaper some where...? They have some great stuff but I'm not looking to spend a fortune. I was wondering if anyone knows of another great store either locally in the Seattle area or online....? Also, Michael's and JoAnn's do not have what I am looking for.
Thank you!

discount school supply online is a great one and definitely cheaper than lakeshore
A great source, online, with super prices and a lot of variety: Discount School Supply. They have everything! Even great furniture! Their customer service is excellent, too. Another online site is Oriental Trading Company. They usually just have party supplies, but have just started an art supplies line, too.
Hope that helps!

I homeschool and teach preschool as well, and I love that place to bits! I hope this helps. God bless,

Michael's, Joann's, Ben Franklin in Redmond, Bellevue Art and Frame across from Overlake Medical Center (great sales), Ikea for rolls of paper, finger paints, chalk, your cupboards (baking soda, food coloring, flour, salt). Get Rosie O'Donnell's new craft book, lots of great low cost craft ideas. Enjoy!!! What do you want that Michael's and Joann's don't have, as they're pretty extensive? Seattle Times sells end bolts of newsprint paper as well.
Discount School Supply. I usually order online.
Have you checked out Bellevue Art & Frame? Last time I was there, they had an amazing selection of real art supplies for kids. I don't know if you'd call it cheap - but *nothing* is more expensive than Lakeshore Learning Center!
Here is a link. If you order 50$+ is free shiping:

Try IKEA, they have some good stuff too. Good luck!
