Michael's - use their weekly 40% one item coupon (available in their flyer or online). I bought some there last year on a buy one, get one free sale.
That has affordable prices? I am interested is doing some photo projects I've seen on Pinterest, as well as letting DD create some permanent works of art and I'd like to know where my fellow crafty mamas are getting good deals on canvases, other than the obvious - Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Amazon.com.
Thanks!!
Okay, thanks so much for the recommendations!

We like to buy canvas and stretch our own, but it's not all that more cost effective. (It does make for a better canvas, though.) Hobby Lobby, is typically the cheapest on sale or with a 40% off coupon. (Hobby Lobby has 2 pack canvases on sale right now.)
We get ours at Joanns. They ALWAYS have coupons in the Sunday paper and you can sign up for more on the internet and in store. I love Joanns.
Just a note from a real tight wad! I have bought "paintings" at yard sales and painted over the painting with a primer and used it like a new one!
Dick Blick usually has really cheap art supply prices. www.dickblick.com
You may not have them in AZ. Ocean State Job Lot has them real cheap, but they're not the best quality. Fine for the budding young artist.
There's a local Dick Blick art store that I love getting "lost" in. I haven't been there in a while, but it's wonderful to go to a real art supplies store and getting to touch and feel and choose between the items right in front of you. It was nice to have the advice of the people that worked there, who were typically artists themselves and knew what they were talking about.
Once I've built up some more paychecks from my new job I plan to get back to Dick Blick and restocking my art supplies. I can't wait.
Michael's and A.C. Moore's. Both take each other's coupons! Just be careful about the sizes. If you intend to frame them yourself, stick to standard frame sizes. I learned this the hard way. :)
I'm going to Biglots to get mine they are cheap like 4-5 bucks each
I saw them at big lots they were in several shapes. you could by them single for like $3 or in packs of 3 for $8
Michael's and AC Moore.
I got my last canvases at Jo Ann's. I got the value pack, did my pinterest crafts and it turned out great. The last few times I went into Joe Ann's the canvases have been 50% off, but even at regular price, I don't think they are too unreasonable. I got my value 3 pack, for $9, when they are regularly $18.
I get my canvases from Dick Blick, Utrecht, or Jerry's Artarama (on-line). Joann's and Michaels and Hobby Lobby are okay and they have good coupons, but it just depends what quality you want.
