I have been told that police and fire stations take them, we are planning on cleaning out the stuffed animals and taking them to te fire department.
I am trying to find a donation site locally where gently used children's toys are needed and possibly other items such as women's clothing. I'm juggling my two year old son hanging on me as I search for this so any suggestions on drop off sites are much appreciated. I want to drop off to an actual site or office and not an empty drop box in the middle of a shopping center. Thank you!

Collin County Women's Shelter. We donate to them regularly. They do have an office where you take items such as clothing and toys. Then they take it to the shelter.
Also, Allen Community Outreach on Main/McDermott East, just past Braums. They have staff to help you with your donations.
Good Luck

There is a charity at a church on 15th in Plano that benefits battered women. I can't remember the name...
But if you do a google search and the address comes up, you've found the right one.

Frisco Resale, on Main St. in Frisco, will glady accept your donations. Proceeds from all sales support Frisco Family Services (food bank, utility bill assistance, rental assistance, etc.) and needy families are given vouchers to shop and select needed items for free. Thank you for recycling your items, and I know they will be much appreciated! Merry Christmas!
Once Upon A Child will donate to Helping Hands.
Our Walmart in Wylie has a Medina Children's Home charity drop off area - it's staffed during the day with 2 volunteers who take donations and can give you a tax receipt. You may see if there is a similar situation with a Walmart closer to you. I think you can also call the Medina Children's charity and they may come to you to pick up donations. Or, the Salvation Army may come pick up from you as well. I know I've seen their trucks in our neighborhood.
I think vogel alcove might like them.
