I'd like to start my 3 year old son in a swim class. Does anyone know a good class/instructor to contact near Kapolei for evening or weekend classes?

What can I do next?

The Villages at Kapolei has swim classes. I'm not sure what times or ages, but I found a link and phone number at this site.

We took our child to All-Aquatics, which has weekend classes, but that's located in Foster Village by the Stadium. I think they're $80 for 8- 30 minute classes. I think their web site is http://www.allaquatics.org/.

Mililani Recreation Centers used to offer swim lessons as well.

Good luck.

I have my son enrolled in the Leahe swim school at the Pearl City facility. I'm not sure if that's too far for you or not. I'm taking him once/week on a Sunday. The summer session starts this weekend

There is a YMCA in Waipahu and Mililani. If you are military, they offer swimming classes also.

My daughter just finished a session of swimming lessons at the YMCA in Nuuanu, which she loved and that I would also recommend. A new session is about to begin in a week and a half or so. It is on Saturday mornings....

If it is too far for you, you can always check your nearest YMCA that has a pool to see if they do classes too :)

PS- Here is their website; www.ymcahonolulu.org - then you go under "aquatics"...
