We are needing to find a great home for our dog. My husband and daughter are allergic to him and it just isn't working for our family. It is breaking my heart to have to see him go but I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on where to advertise him to find a good home for him. Here is his info and any info that you could offer would be great!!

Free 22 month old neutered black lab. Zeus is house broke and kennel trained. He went through obedience training when he was 12 weeks old. Great with young kids and other pets. All shots are up to date. Allergies are forcing us to get rid of him. He is a very well mannered dog but needs room to run and play. We will include his large kennel with him.

If interested call ###-###-#### or email me at ____@____.com for pictures.

Hi B.,

We have a lab and we got him from Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue (DLRR). You may try to call them and see if they will take him in and find him a new home. People looking for labs have to fill out adoption papers and go through a small adoption process and interview to select a dog that is the right fit for their family.
Their number is: 480-899-LABS
Website: www.dlrrphoenix.org
Good Luck!

There was a post just a few days ago where someone was looking for a lab, especially a rescue. This post was from Danielle K on 6/28 and you can find it in the "requests and responses" menu on page 2. She even seems to be in the general area as you!
Maybe this would work out for both of you?

Hi B.,

I am very interested in your dog. We have been considering a lab for our 17 month old daughter. We have 5 indoor cats but she loves dogs. I would like to meet the dog and see if it would be a fit for us. Let me know if you get any other responses as well.

Thank you,

D. K
