Hi K.,
My kids took lessons at Waukesha North High School. Our daughter is 6 and absolutely loved it.
Hello Moms!
My daughter just turned 5 and I would love for her to get swimming lessons this summer. We don't have a pool but she loves the water and is always asking to go swimming at the beach or at her aunt's house. Right now we have her wear a floatation type vest but, of course, we really want her to be self sufficient. We live in the Pewaukee/Waukesha area; who offers a solid program that doesn't cost a month's worth of groceries? :)

Call the local high schools. If that doesn't work, contact the Red Cross. I live in Franklin (Milwaukee County) and just signed my daughter up for Red Cross's swim lessons at Franklin High School. It's a 4 week class with 2 lessons per week, and was only $32 dollars for area residents, and I think $62 for non-residents.
Hi K.,
I have taken my boys to the Waukesha County parks for swim lessons. They generally are very inexpensive and fun, since they take place at the beach. I know I have seen sign-up for lessons at Menomonee Park, Muskego, and the other beaches in Waukesha county.
The YMCA offers lessons, but they are somewhat more expensive. They usually do a good job.
How about the recreation department?
Good luck!

K.,
Swim lessons are offered at both Arrowhead High School and through the Pewaukee Rec Dept. However, in Pewaukee they are at the beach, so obviously weather permitting...and, it can be a little cold!
Good luck!
