Which Is the House Chore That You Hate the Most?

I loathe dusting. We live behind a new development, so even if I dust, it stays clean for less than day. I'm a big fan of candles and dim lighting! ;)

Hey, no one know that she didn't JUST stain her shirt while you were out right?! That's how I rationalize it!

I find for laundry...I have one big day when I try to do it all (not ironing). It helps me groove a little more. And then I save a TV show (or 2) to put on while I iron, and that passes the time. Law and Order:SVU is my ironing show! ;) I also buy shirts and pants for my husband that are "low/no wrinkle". I hardly ever have to iron anything for myself or little one, so that's really helped. :)

Bathrooms. I HATE CLEANING BATHROOMS!! I will go as long as I can between bathroom cleanings because I dread it so much. Screw you, bathrooms.

The kitchen hands down! I have a family of six and its never ending. I swear almost daily im going all paper! (joke) I also dont enjoy ironing as my husband makes me iron in the basement which is a whole other story! But, I might add I love to vacuum???

If I won the lottery today, I would immediately hire someone to clean my bathrooms, expecially the tubs. It's back breaking with garden or jacuzzi tubs. Also hate ironing. I recall visions of my mom standing at the ironing board for hours once a week ironing everything from tablecloths to my dad's hankerchiefs. UGH!!!

Tie.....windows and constantly picking up, sweeping up, swiffering up, or vacuuming up all the dog hair from our dogs.

You didn't ask, but my fav (if I had to name one) chore would be laundry.

oh wow, definitely folding and putting away clothes!!! Way too often we are hunting through baskets or the dryer for our clothes for the day;)

Dusting!!! Too many surfaces, I just can't keep up.

I absolutely hate to clean the shower and tub. I really don't like any of it, but the bathrooms are worst.

Hmmm let's see, laundry in general. I don't mind starting it, I don't mind switching it, getting it out, and folding it, and then putting it away is my weakness! Especially when the baby loves to steal the freshly folded laundry and throw it on the floor. Which means I have to start all over! Speaking of, I need to go get a load from the dryer....sheesh.

Dishes. I would rather do 150 loads of laundry than one load of dishes. seriously.

Unfortunately that's what I have to do right now. ugh. The only thing that makes it tolerable is listening to my podcasts and I have a rule that no one can bother me while I'm working in the kitchen.

I watch hulu while I'm doing laundry. The time just flies.

Cleaning the bathrooms...I will happily clean everyones kitchens, grocery shop, vaccum and wash/fold and put away laundry if I never have clean another toliet or scrub another shower. I grew up in a house with 6 kids (5 of which are girls) so I never realized how much "fun" it would be to clean a toilet after a man... since I never "miss" while using the toliet I did not fully understand how many hours I would now spend cleaning pee off of the floor, toliet seat and bathroom cabinets.

Folding clothes, cooking and dishes!!

Yeah, I'm casting my vote for the kitchen as well. I would rather do 50 loads of laundry than do the dinner dishes, I hate it so much. I'm not even sure why. I don't mind any of the others- making beds, laundry, dusting, mopping, windows, etc. I just hate doing dishes.

DISHES!!! I hate doing dishes! I don't mind doing everything else! My husband has taken over the unloading of the dishwasher for me and I just load it...that makes it a little better. And I really don't mind the cleaning throughout the house. I'm a stay-at-home mom and my only baby is getting ready for kindergarten...today. So, I'm hoping the cleaning will keep me occupied while she's gone so I don't have any breakdowns! :) And my favorite would probably be doing the laundry. I don't know why...I don't iron, so maybe that's why! I love folding and putting the things away...it's kind of calming to me. :)

Dusting, hands down! My husband says we could just duct tape everything down and use a blower - there are days I actually consider doing that :)

I hate cleaning bathroom toilets inside and out. I'm the only women in the house so the bathrooms can get nasty. I also hate cleaning kitchens especially after cooking (too tired) But I solved that problem by cooking and cleaning at the same time. That way I never have too much too do.

I HATE folding whites...all of those freaking socks drive me nuts!

I also am not a fan of washing the floors.

Like you, I'm not a fan of ironing...so I just don't do it! I try and pull my clothes out of the dryer ASAP so I don't have to iron.

Definitely bathrooms. I ask my husband to do those (because he is really fabulous at it) and I tackle EVERYTHING else. I dislike them that much!! I'm not a fan of sweeping either, because it one little speck is left, it drives me nuts. But I do it because no one else in my house gets it all up (lol...the rest are only 7, 5, and 3)!!! I dont mind laundry because it's an organization thing and that makes me happy - but I dislike when it gets backed up for days!

For me, the worst job is cleaning grout.

I dont mind folding or washing clothes...I HATE putting them up!! And twice a year I clean out all the closets...I hate doing that too!!

Mopping the kitchen floor...and folding white clothes...they both suck!

The dishes...I HATE the dishes!!!! No matter what, they pile up. My best girlfriend and I trade once a week for a break. She does up my dishes and I do 3 loads of her laundry. Some people may not be comfortable with such a personal switch but that is how much I loathe dishes. Fun question, made me smile. :)

I hate cleaning...period. All of it. Problem is I can't live in a dirty or messy house...answer...housekeeper twice a month and the kids in between. I don't mind laundry, i do that..and make the beds, I love made beds....

I hate cleaning the bathroom too! We have 2 boys and that turns into one nasty bathroom.

Well I don't iron, most of my clothes are wrinkle resistant, but if they are wrinkly I wait till I am about to wear them to iron them so I dont mind it, my husband and I spilt the laundry I put away mine and our sons and he just has to do his (because somehow he seems to have more laundry than both of us put together) the only time I do it is when he lets it pile up. but the one thing I can't stand is dishes!. I have ecsema on my hands and the hot water makes them worse (gloves dont help) luckily my husband will usually do them. I want to add we dont have a dishwasher so its time consuming

Ugh... the shower! Haha. We have a tiny upright one and I am almost 7 months pregnant so it makes it even harder to clean now. It has a door so its not like you can have water running and scrubbing at the same time (or rinse it from the outside either). I have to go to the outside of shower and then get up on the tub sides and reach over the shower walls to help move the shower head to help rinse the chemicals and cleaners. I try doing a daily spray just to prolong the dreaded full cleaning of it. HaHAHa.

I HATE doing the dishes! Which is what I should be doing right now instead of reading all the postings.

I am also very happy that I only have to iron about 3 or 4 times a year.

Ironing for sure, it is so boring even if I watch TV.

I hd a husky for 15 years, and now have a 10 year old husky/collie mix. I have been cleaning dog hair for 25 years! Grrrrrr..........

I hate put away socks and cleaning bathrooms!

I'm a bit late posting but I hate hate hate laundry.

I hate planning for meals. I feel pressured when hubby says what's for dinner? I haven't a clue! LOL!
