Never used wool diaper covers, but I've used other Imse Vimse cover's and I'm a fan of their swim diapers. My Imse VImse's were my favorite covers for my kissaluvs.
I am interested in using wool diaper covers and have narrowed the brands down to Imse Vimse and Loveybums. However, they are an investment. So I was wondering if there any moms out there who use either of these brands and if so, what have your experiences been so far? There is also the Dhana wool pull-ups from Green Mountain Diapers that , but they seem to continually be out of stock.

Hi there,
Yes, I used Loveybums and they were great!!! Unfortunately cloth diapering didn't last long for us - it just was too much. I sold off most of my Loveybums stash, but I do have two wool interlock covers (great for night), left if you are interested in purchasing them used (they usually retail for $32). Anyway, good luck with the wool!!
PS: We used the wool crepe as well.
I belong to a website called TheBump.com. The girls on the EcoFriendly Family board are so helpful with any cloth diapering need. Here is the link, if you want to ask your question over there (there may or may not be a waiting period to post though):

By the way, have you seen these wool covers? They are "longies" and good for cooler/colder weather and oh so adorable!

We actually use the Swaddlebees wool covers. They are expensive, but great (and fit really well). You only need about 4 covers, and you only need to wash them if they get poop on them. The Swaddlebees covers come with a lanolinizing kit (for before you use them the first time). Then you'll need Eucalan or some other lanolin. They're very breathable, but if your baby is a heavy soaker, you will need to double up on the diapers or change diapers more frequently. I like the Swaddlebees with snaps -- they will last a really long time, much longer than Velcro.
Good luck!
