I currently work full time and am considering leaving my job to stay home and be there when my kids get out of school and go to activities etc. However, our finances are not able to accomodate me completely stopping working all together. So I need to find some thing I can do from home that is flexible enough to be there when my kids need me. Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!

www.liveops.com or www.westathome.com. my SIL works for liveops. they take incoming calls for made for tv stuff. you are your own boss and make .25/min you are on a call. you can do upsells, etc. to earn extra money. she makes on average (can be more or less) $12/hr. you have to take out your own taxes. i have applied there and am awaiting a reply. she said that it took her a few months. i worked for westathome. they do incoming calls for insurance companies, GE for cancelling/rescheduling deliveries, Toys'r'us/Babies'r'us, Directv, etc. you work for them and you can make anywhere from minimum wage in your area to upwards of $18/hr (i did when working for Directv, i also was eligible for free DTV service if i worked 25/hrs week). with westathome you DO have to have a minimum amount of hours you can work although you can schedule them anytime the service you work for is open. they all have different hours, directv was open from 10a-11p EST. with liveops you only have to work one shift which is 30mins every 42 days. they are open 24hrs/day. west at home can take a while to get a call back. i had a callback within 2 months and was working after that in less than another month. my SIL hadn't heard back from them for 3yrs about and then recently heard from them. but they are a good company to work for. liveops you don't get paid training, west you do.

There is an online site called www.genuinejobs.com that shows lists of work from home jobs around the US. You might want to check there. I work from home with a health and wellness company helping people lose weight and feel great. I'm making a great part time income from that. If you want info let me know. Otherwise, the above website will at least show you some of the types of jobs that are out there.

Working from home is work and takes disciplume. Companies who hire moms to work from home most often require children to be in childcare, etc so you can ficus on the job. Working at home takes major effort.

You'll be approached by all the direct sales and MLM's because they need to recruit for their team. I'm not saying that's bad but be realistic, mist require you to have some sort of investment, high pressure sales and recruiting.

If you are degreed, and your children are in school, apply to be a substitute teacher and work in their school.

Daycare is an option... Temp agencies as well.

Think outside the box, be creative.. What are you good at and what do you like to do?

Good luck
