Workout Suggestions/DVDs While Pregnant

I recently found out that I am pregnant with my second child. I want to stay fit and healthy throughout my pregnancy and was hoping for workout and DVD suggestions for pregnant women in all three trimesters. I walk on my treadmill and throughout my neighborhood about three/four days a week, but that can get boring. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Summer Sanders (the former Olympic swimmer) has a good one. The Shiva Rae prenatal yoga and Erin O'Brien's Complete Pregnancy Fitness (or Prenatal Fitness Fix) were ones I loved doing while pregnant. And postnatally, I liked the Lindsey Brin bootcamp DVD to help shed some of that baby weight

Check into the line of DVDs from Moms Into Fitness. The woman who leads those tapes, Lindsay Brin, is currently pregnant with her third and really understands working out during pregnancy and after because she's been through it herself (although doesn't look like it!). I really like her workouts ... they're short, intense and really targeted to moms.

the perfect pregnancy workout was great. It's by a pregnant cirque du soleil performer. It was the only pregnancy workout that I tried that really challenged me. It's actually pretty hard when i'm not pregnant.

I did a DVD called Walk Away the Pounds when I was prego with #2. Leslie Sansone is the instructor and she has all kinds of walks. they are very easy

Erin O'Brien Prenatal (and her postpartum one was great too) DVD was my favorite when I was pregnant with my 2nd and 3rd. I bought them from Amazon.com and used them 3-4 times a week and walked the neighborhood as much as my little ones would allow. Best wishes and Congrats! R., midwife mom of 3
