I am a mother of two wonderful out of control babies. My daughter is 3 and my son will be 2 in August, we are expecting our 3rd in October. I am very lonely. I am working at the current time but just gave my two week notice yesterday because I don't make enough money for it to matter and my husband makes 20 times more then me and he needs to have all the time to keep making the money. I would like to find some other moms looking for friends to go to the park with this summer and do some fun activities with the kids. My daughter really wants friends and she asks me all the time for some. We don't live in a neigborhood that has little kids so it makes it hard. She is starting pre school in August and I know that will help but until then I don't know what to do. Thank you D.
Hi everyone!! I was thinking maybe we could set up a little play group of our own. I don't know how to go about doing that but I think it would be fun. We all could meet new friends and have a little ones meet some friends also. Let me know what you all think. I think it could be fun we don't need to have it cost anything maybe we could all make some lunches and go to the park and let the little ones play and have a picnic or something. I know how lonely it can get when you are staying home with your children and how hard it can be to meet other woman w/ children your kid's age. I have a three year old son and I am feeling a little bit the same way. I don't have many friends that have kids my son can play with. We are available to meet on Saturdays if you would like to set up a blind playdate. Good luck and just know that things will get better.
Hi D., I wish I was a stay at home mom! I'm a working mom of a 3-1/2 year old little girl with one on the way due in October too. I don't have any friends with kids who live close by. Everyone is in Arvada or Thornton. I do wish I had someone nearby to go on a last minute walk or trip to the park. I live near Kipling and Jewell. Let me know if you want to get together sometime :)

My name is J., I have a 12 yr old son, 4 yr old son, 2.5 year old daughter. I am a WAHM and sadly enough dont have any friends to hang out with during the week either. My husband and I also own a business AND he works full time for the county. He works late too so it does feel like the only adult contact I have is through the internet.
I am at Hampden and C470-if any, or all of you, would like to meet at a park someday-lets have a huge playdate and see how the kids get along.

D. - I joined a moms club and have loved every minute. The women are wonderful and I've made some great friends for me and my daughter. The club I joined is the MOMs club. It's geared towards SAHMs. They plan activities during the week, have playgroups where they try to set you up with other kids around the same age, a book club, recipe club, moms night out. The website is www.momsclub.org for the main MOMs club site. If you scroll down to the bottom on the lower left corner you'll see chapter links. You can look for the club closest to your house.
