Almost a year now.
No weight gain.
Intact libido, but no ability to climax (which is worse than no libido!)
Zoloft has worked for me very well for anxiety and depression. Tried many natural alternatives long before taking, but it just wasn't enough.

I was on it for about 3 months (sorry, not a long time). The biggest side effect I noticed was lack of libido, but since I was depressed, I'm not sure that it would have been better if I wasn't on it. :) I didn't notice weight gain or loss when I went on it, or got off of it. (I was post partum and had plateaued weight-wise before, during, and after the Zoloft.

I have been on zoloft for about a little over a month. The only side effect that I notice is that I have a loss of appetite (which for me, isn't a bad thing!) I have actually lost 11 pounds since I started taking it.
My 8 yo daughter is on it too. She also has loss of appetite. So far, that has been the only side effect for us. She has been taking it quite a bit longer than I have too.

I took Zoloft when I was a teenager and the only side effect I noticed back then was insomnia. Well, I guess I shouldn't say "only" because it was bad enough to discontinue taking it! I took it again for about 6 months when I was pregnant a few years back. Because I was pregnant, I did not notice whether it caused weight gain and my libido was already gone. It helped me immensely back then- within 2 weeks of starting it, I felt like I could finally see the good in the world. It helped me out of a very deep depression. I would recommend talking to your doctor about it for sure.

Zoloft caused me to have regular diarrhea. It took two months of diarrhea to figure out that the Zoloft was the cause. I got pretty sick from it.

I was on it for 6 months. It really helped the hair on the back of my neck stand down - I was an over-stressed mess trying to be super-mommy for awhile.
I didn't care about weight gain (I didn't notice if I gained or lost).
It really kills your desire for sex but it comes back slowly eventually once you are off it again.
