Infant Seborrheic Eczema

I have a 7 1/2 wk old baby girl who I just took to the doctors today because she's had a rash for about a week now. I didn't think it looked like baby acne and its not just on her face its also on the back of her neck and scalp. Doctor said it's seborrheic eczema, it may get worse before it gets better and also it may be something that she will always have. She will most likely develop allergies as she gets older. My poor beautifl little girl. I feel so bad for her. He gave her a prescription for a steroid cream. Is there any one else...

JUST CURIOUS to what others think about the topic. We are currently TTC our second child. We have a 17mo old little girl and I've saved all of her clothes and such just in case we have another girl the 2nd time around. (Although we'd love a boy, one of each!) I'm assuming that if we have another girl, then a baby shower is not really necessary since I wouldn't really need clothes and we'd probably end up buying the bigger items ourselves anyway and reuse a lot of the toys/equipment. Adopting a Boy - What to Register for an (18 Month Old) Baby Shower

My husband will have the son we've been praying for in two months. Some friends from our church are wanting to throw us a shower - can you give me an idea of the "must-have's" for an 18 month old? I don't have anything for our baby at this point except my collection of Little Golden books! I would so appreciate your thoughts - I don't want to register for things only to learn later that I really didn't need them. Please be specific. I appreciate your help so much!
