I have a 4 year old boy whom has mild allergies and reactive airway syndrome. We have have recently decided to try medicines recommended by our son's doctor. What Has Been Your Experience with Singulair?

I heard that it can trigger mental issues in children. I have a history of mental illness in my family and am petrified of triggering a latent gene in my son but his allergies are forcing my hand. Please tell me if you've used on your children what side effects have been like. Did it help the allergies?? Thanks!

Your Opinions on Singulair

I have a 5 yr old daughter who gets a wicked cough a few times a year. This past trip to the ped he suggested we start her on 4 mg of Singulair. My husband is asthmatic and the ped feels that there is a possibility that she may be diagnosed later in life with asthma.
