5 Year Old with Worsening Behavior
I am open to hearing anyone's advice. I have a 5 year old boy who has recently started "acting out" in school. He does his work (sometimes not to the best of his ability), but he talks a lot and is acting very hyper. He hasn't always been a hyper child. I stopped his allergy meds and I have tried multiple tactics: taking away t.v., games, favorite toys, favorite foods, and have even given hard chores (cleaning up after the dog out back).
