My First Experience with Thrush .... Help Please!

Advice needed. Landon is 9 months old. And we're dealing with our first case of Thrush. My other son never had this, so I'm caught totally off guard! Rash on Breast

Hi quick question moms - I have a rash on one breast it is itchy and a little red and slightly bumpy. It is not on the nipple, just the side of the breast. I'm bf'ing my 6 month old. I thought possibly it was fungal and have been putting a fungal cream on it - lotrimin and also tried some hydrocortisone cream. I haven't noticed a real improvement. I don't have any pain or any other symptons. Anyone else have suggestions? I am hoping to not have to go to a dr right now if I can help it...I am temporarily without health insurance...
